The Southlake Public Library Imagines A Day Without Water

September 15th may have passed, but Southlake Water Utilities has gone one step further and will continue the Imagine A Day Without Water campaign for the rest of the month! The next highlight of our campaign series is the Southlake Public Library. After you read their story, tell us how you value water below!

W.I.S.E. Guys

Is it time to repair or replace that old, leaky sprinkler system? Sign up for a free W.I.S.E. Guys irrigation evaluation and a licensed irrigator will set up an appointment to recommend fixes or adjustments. You may even be eligible for a rebate of up to $200 on your water bill!
Photo Contest

Showcase your photography skills! Send in your best photographs related to water and water conservation to the Bob Jones Nature Center. Photos can be submitted from now until November 11th, and winning photos will be displayed at the Nature Center and the library.
Xeriscaping

What are the benefits of xeriscaping? Lower water bills, disease-resistant plants, less maintenance, and a diverse landscape habitat are all easily attainable. Fall is the time to start thinking about how you want your landscape to look come spring. Start your planning now!
Weekly Watering Advice
This week's recommendation is for you to apply 0.25 inches of water to your lawn. Remember to water only on your designated days, between 6:00pm and 10:00am.  For more information on this, visit Water Is Awesome.
